Preview & debugging

The preview

The preview runs your project exactly as it will be published: static files served from the Loxley server. It reloads after each save and after every AI run. Use the toolbar to switch device sizes, reload, or open the preview in a new tab.

For safety the preview runs in a sandbox with an isolated origin. A few browser features (such as localStorage and cookies) may be unavailable inside it; wrap them in try/catch. Published sites are served the same way.

Debug console

The bottom panel collects, from the running preview:

  • console.log, info, warn, error and debug output
  • Uncaught errors with file, line and column
  • Unhandled promise rejections
  • Failed fetch requests and assets that fail to load

Type JavaScript in the console input to evaluate it inside the preview — for example document.querySelectorAll('img').length. Use the arrow keys for history.

Fixing with AI

When errors appear, press Fix with AI in the panel (or use the error chip in the composer). Claude receives the latest errors and looks for the root cause.

The Problems tab lists only errors and warnings; AI activity lists every file operation Claude performed.
